This week in A.P. Calculus, we were introduced to how the class will flow and what is expected of us throughout the year. I am excited to take on the challenge of Calculus. I feel like this is the final frontier of math (although there is much more planned in the future). I also feel like the top dog. This class is very highly regarded and no walk in the park. I realize the type of work ethic that is needed to be successful in this class especially. I feel ready and prepared to be competitive in this class. Besides working through a course survey, we started on a fairly large packet filled with review material from Precalculus. A lot of the questions listed were foggy and took a lot of time and work to figure out completely. Nevertheless, I got it done with few errors I hope. I think that my biggest weakness right now is solving equations with log and natural log (ln). That has always sort of been a struggle and not much time was spent in previous math classes solving those type of equations. That type of algebra is tough but is extremely satisfying when you get to the final answer. I am ready to get after it this year, it is a goal to get all my work done and try to understand each concept to the fullest.
